Every entrepreneurial ecosystem is built on the same set of conditions, and the work is making them hold together at the same time. The thinking on this is well established: An ecosystem thrives when talent is developed, finance is available, knowledge moves freely, networks connect the actors, and the culture treats enterprise as something worth doing. Organisations working across the trades and technical entrepreneurship know these conditions well, because their whole model is to develop people, help ventures grow, and build the culture and connections around work the market has long undervalued. At a certain stage, the constraint stops being any single condition and becomes coordination. The programmes work. The funders are paying attention. The strategy is sound. What remains is getting many actors, each with its own mandate, to move as one, and to keep moving after the meeting ends.
