About Chido Govera

Chido Govera is a Zimbabwean social entrepreneur who pioneered training women and youth to cultivate edible and medicinal mushrooms using agricultural and coffee waste. She founded The Future of Hope Foundation to turn food security into agency and income across Africa and beyond. A WEF Young Global Leader (2017), National Geographic Explorer, and Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Emerging Leader (2022), she has appeared on stages including World Bank Live, MAD Symposium, Do Lectures and ABC.
