About Dr Kevin Lentin
Dr Kevin Lentin is a Cape Town-based chiropractor and functional wellness specialist with more than four decades in clinical practice. Trained in psychology, chiropractic, clinical nutrition, and emergency care, he brings a new and uniquely integrative lens to human health. His work blends structural correction of the neuro-musculoskeletal system with functional diagnostics, biochemical optimisation, and neuroscience, and mind–body medicine to restore what he calls dynamic equilibrium – the state where physical, biochemical, and psycho-emotional systems hold their shape under pressure. Since opening his practice in 1985, Kevin has worked with an estimated 35,000 patients across acute injuries, chronic pain, stress-driven conditions, hormonal disruption, autonomic nervous system dysregulation, and lifestyle-mediated disease. He is widely known for his calm, practical, and professional teaching style and his ability to translate complex biochemistry and physiology into clear, actionable steps that patients can apply immediately. Kevin’s signature Golden Triangle model considers health through three interdependent dimensions: • the physical body • biochemical pathways (hormones, enzymes, neurotransmitters, autonomic regulation) • psycho-emotional tone When any side is neglected, people drift into a state he calls dis-ease. This is the early, often invisible tension in the system – anxiety, poor concentration, sleep disturbance, fatigue, gut changes, anxiety, mood instability, inflammation – that, if unmanaged, becomes structural pain, metabolic fragility, system collapse, and eventual long-term disease. His work helps individuals recognise and decode this early tension before reaching a crisis point. Drawing inspiration from organisational and behavioural psychology, Kevin extends these principles into personal health. Where leaders require agency and operating rhythm to stay effective, individuals require daily structure, physiological literacy, and a repeatable health cadence so wellbeing survives contact with real life. His approach replaces slogans about balance with a practical architecture for self-regulation: orientation (decode what the body is expressing), competence (restore biochemical and neurological capacity), execution (embed habits that protect energy and performance), and renewal (ongoing recalibration to maintain longevity and inner stability). Kevin is the founder of Vitaliseme and the creator of two signature systems: • The Dis-Ease Decoder System™ – a five-phase process that helps women restore metabolic, hormonal, and emotional resilience. • The “It’s Just a Thing” Technique – a practical method for dismantling emotional overload and autonomic stress patterns. His work bridges clinical insight, functional medicine, behavioural psychology, and preventative health strategy. Whether speaking on stage, consulting in boardrooms, or guiding patients one-on-one, Kevin is known for evidence over hype, a story-rich teaching style, and tools that people can use the very next day. His mission is to help individuals reclaim control over their health, build resilience that lasts, and create a personal operating system that supports vitality through every phase of life.
Key message
Performance collapses when the human system collapses. Health is not a wellness perk. It is the operating base for every individual, organisation, and strategic ambition. By detecting dis-ease early and restoring alignment across the physical, biochemical, and psycho-emotional dimensions, organisations protect their greatest asset: human energy. My work replaces vague wellness slogans with a practical, science-driven operating model that individuals, leaders, and teams can use immediately – a Golden Triangle framework that strengthens resilience, reduces presenteeism, and builds sustainable, humane high performance that survives real-world pressure.
